About Dr. Sanders
Dr. Sanders graduated from University of Western States with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. While in school he was Student Body Representative for his class and Teaching Assistant for the Human Anatomy Lab. He served as President of the UWS and Portland-wide chapters of the Integrative Medicine Club, as well as the UWS Functional Neurology Club. He also discovered a passion for powerlifting, setting the school record for heaviest deadlift.
In addition to traditional Chiropractic care, Dr. Sanders has expertise in Osteopathic manual therapies, especially cranial and visceral manipulation. He has several hundred hours of post-graduate training in functional neurology for post-concussion syndrome and other neurological disorders.
Dr. Sanders’ most extensive training is in Sports Chiropractic care, and he frequently serves on the medical staff of elite and professional sporting events. He is certified in the in-office fabrication of personalized orthotics. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians, and the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation.
